The heart of SPL Property Management is our staff. Our team of knowledgeable and experienced people, work hard to deliver a top level service to our clients.
We currently have four directly employed maintenance teams who cover our portfolio across the South Coast. Our typical day is to meet at our Poole HQ at 7am to collect materials and machinery needed for the day. The days tasks are discussed and job routes organised and programmed. All our operatives have a background in general maintenance and building trades and so have a very good understanding of all property matters. Each operative has their own fully equipped and liveried van, allowing them to quickly respond to any maintenance reports. The team are:

Scott has thirty years of experience in property management and development. His involvement is constructing properties from the ground up has helped to form the Company’s ethos of maintenance and management of its portfolio and a common sense and proactive approach is ingrained in the culture of the Company and its staff. Scott was the first local agent to employ direct maintenance staff to deal with issues and problems quickly and this has grown to now having four directly employed maintenance teams across the South. His interests include football, fishing, shooting and painting.
Emily has been involved in Residential Leasehold Property Management for over 12 years and has dealt with many different types of properties, clients and leaseholders. She has a keen interest in industry developments and legislative changes and heads up the Property Management team. With a focus on training and development, she regularly arranges training sessions for the team and can be found at most industry events. Emily is a Fellow and Director of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) and an Honorary Consultant to the Federation of Private Residents Associations. Outside of the office Emily is very musical and enjoys playing percussion, saxophone, flute and is now learning the clarinet.
Vicky has worked in the industry for over 8 years, having previously been based in London managing large riverside developments for both Corporate and Private clients. Vicky has also been the Estate Manager for a landmark development where she managed a large on-site team and worked alongside the developer. Vicky also has a background in Hotel Management where she worked in Accounting within the Hospitality industry where a key focus is customer service and liaison with guests. Outside of work Vicky likes to go trail running and open water swimming along the South Coast.
Andy manages our Southampton portfolio and has been in the property industry for over 10 years in various roles. Andy comes with a wealth of experience and a great passion for all things organisation and property management. In his spare time, Andy enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen, walking and spending time with his family & friends.
Leah has been with SPL from 2018 starting as an Apprentice, completing her Apprenticeship in Housing/ Property Management with Distinction, and recently having achieved her Member status with the Institute of Residential Property Management (MIRPM). She looks after a portfolio with a mixture of residential and commercial/residential properties. She enjoys keeping up with current developments in the sector and taking part in training sessions arranged by SPL. Outside of the office Leah enjoys playing board games and sketching.
Following a lengthy career in Residential Estate Agency, Lara joined the SPL team as a Junior Property Manager in 2018. Her experience in property gave her a great knowledge base to take to the Property Management industry and she passed her AIRPM exam to become an Associate of the IRPM in early 2019. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, enjoys musicals and going to the cinema.
Nathan moved across to leasehold property management with the team at SPL after a 7-year career in estate agency & lettings property management. Nathan passed his assessment to become an Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Management in June 2021. Nathan has a keen interest in technology (and is often the first port of call for any IT issues!) as well as keeping fit, modifying cars and he is a big foodie.
Tash has worked within the property industry for over 15 years. Tash joined SPL Property Management in 2020 and is starting her IRPM training, she has fully embraced managing her own portfolio and enjoys working with her clients in the smooth running of their property. Outside of work, Tash enjoys craft activities, gardening and making homemade jams & chutneys, which are always well received.
Dan joined SPL in 2021 after completing a BTEC level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business Studies. He is currently working towards a level 3 qualification in Housing and Property Management through our apprenticeship scheme and enjoys assisting the current property managers with their day-to-day duties. In his spare time, Dan enjoys playing darts at county, and international, level. He also enjoys going for runs in the Dorset countryside.
Allison is a co-Director of the Company and has been directly involved for the past 5 years. She was pivotal in setting up the accounts and maintenance software systems we now have in place and she heads up our busy accounts team. With an in-depth knowledge of the systems and processes in place, Allison is key to the financial management of our portfolio. Allison is a busy mum of three who enjoys the Gym and regularly impresses with her nutritious homemade lunches.
Amanda has had a long career in accountancy and, as a result, has a wealth of knowledge and experience which she brings to her role. She ably assists the team with bank reconciliations, debt chases and recording payments in and out of the many Client accounts we hold. Away from the office Amanda enjoys gardening and long walks around the Dorset countryside.
Jacob’s methodical approach and attention to detail is invaluable in his role as an Accounts Assistant as he is involved with the reconciliation of over 250 bank accounts every month and matches these to the penny. As a technical wizard, he is also involved in the programming of our maintenance software to ensure our teams effectively cover the portfolio. He enjoys computer games, drawing, and rigging and animating 3D characters.
Leah is recently joined the accounts team and she assists with all aspects of the back office, providing essential support to the team. She enjoys music, concerts, festivals and watersports.
With an established background in compliance, Tony is our Operations Manager and is responsible for management of the key system in the office and ordering of goods and supplies for the maintenance team. He regularly reviews risk assessment and safe working practices for the team. Away from the office, Tony enjoys spending time in his garden with his Jack Russell, Titch.
