Refresh your property with some decoration

Our Property Managers have been hard at work, pushing forward with major works projects across our portfolio.  With Spring bringing some long-awaited good weather, we have been able to complete several external redecoration and cleaning projects to improve the exterior appearance of properties within our portfolio.

These projects have all required Section 20 consultation, as set out in the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.  Our team have ensured that every step of the process has been followed to involve the leaseholders of the property and provide all the necessary information about these projects.

The Section 20 process allows leaseholders to nominate contractors for inclusion within the tender process.  We will then carry out competitive tender, including any nominated contractors, and communicate all prices to leaseholders.  Once the consultation has been completed, and funds are available, we will then place a contract for the works.

We are very pleased that some of the blocks where works have been completed are new blocks to our portfolio.  Works had been outstanding for some time and not carried out with previous agents.  The Property Managers have worked to get these projects pushed forward and, as a result, the properties are now enjoying a new lease of life with their improved external appearances.

As we move through Spring and Summer, we will see more of these external projects completed and we will move on to internal redecorations in the Autumn and Winter months.
